The Very Group has been named a Menopause Friendly Accredited employer by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace after an independent panel reviewed its policies, practices, culture, work environment and training.
The Group has set up resources including a menopause awareness guide and an e-learning module for all colleagues.
The women at Very (WAVE) colleague network also runs regular events to raise awareness and offer support.
Sarah Willett, chief people officer at The Very Group, said: “I’m extremely proud that we’ve been formally accredited as a menopause friendly employer.
“Here at Very, we work hard to foster an inclusive workplace where people feel welcomed, represented and valued through every stage of life.
“So, to receive recognition for our ongoing commitment from an organisation like Henpicked is such a meaningful milestone in our journey toward building a truly inclusive workplace.”
Deborah Garlick, CEO of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, said: “I’m delighted to recognise The Very Group as a Menopause Friendly Accredited employer.
“Their commitment is woven into their culture and values, chosen by their people and brought to life through visible leadership, open conversations and practical support.
“This is about more than policy. By listening to colleagues and responding with meaningful action, The Very Group is creating a workplace where menopause can be talked about openly and colleagues feel supported to thrive.”
