Avado, a provider of professional learning, is introducing CIPD Level 5 Plus – a premium offering for those pursuing their CIPD qualification.

Building on the success of Avado’s existing CIPD Level 5 course, the Plus package provides a range of valuable extras to help learners develop deeper HR expertise and practical skills.

With CIPD Level 5 Plus, learners will have access to additional support and resources designed to assist with their assessments and professional development.

The package includes three pre-assessment feedback tutorials, which provide one-to-one support from tutors.

These sessions offer personalised feedback on CIPD assessments, allowing learners to refine their submissions and make necessary improvements.

Learners will also participate in two mock employment tribunals (valued at £795).

These live simulations present case studies on employment law issues, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and misconduct claims.

Participants will go through all stages of a tribunal hearing, such as presenting evidence, cross-examinations, and legal decision-making.

Employment law specialists, tribunal judges, and HR professionals provide guidance and feedback.

The tribunals are conducted in a controlled learning environment where learners can practise legal procedures without real-world consequences.

The package includes unlimited access to QuickScore, an AI-powered assessment tool that provides instant feedback on assignments.

QuickScore breaks down assessment criteria and directs learners to relevant resources within Avado’s learning hub.

The Plus package allows for unlimited submissions, compared to the two-month access period provided in the standard Avado CIPD Course package.

In addition, the package covers CIPD Membership, which is not included in standard CIPD courses.

Learners will also receive a Kogan Page Book Voucher, which can be used to access a selection of HR and L&D books.

Additionally, learners will have access to Avado’s recently launched mentor programme.

This initiative connects students with over 1,200 experienced HR mentors through Avado Connect, ensuring they receive real-world career guidance, networking opportunities, and industry insights.

Jill Kayton, head of product at Avado, said: “In today’s evolving HR landscape, professionals need more than just theoretical knowledge—they need practical experience and the ability to navigate complex scenarios with confidence.

“CIPD Level 5 Plus bridges the gap between education and real-world application, giving learners the skills, insights, and hands-on exposure they need to succeed in their HR careers.”
