Shropshire Growth Hub set to launch Co-Work Hub for freelancers and small businesses
The Co-Work hub, backed by Government contracts and grants, will provide a place for people to work independently but still have the benefits of community.
Shropshire Growth Hub is set to launch a new co-working space for freelancers, creatives, remote workers and small business owners in 2026.
The Co-Work Hub, backed by Government contracts and grants, will provide a place for people to work independently but still have the benefits of community.
It will offer a welcoming space where individuals can share experiences and get informal guidance from an expert-in-residence over a coffee.
Steve Periton, solopreneur and founder of Nodsboy, helped shape the hub to meet the needs of early-stage and small businesses in Shropshire.
Periton said: “We are creating a space where founders can work, connect and grow together without the pressure of formal networking.
“It fills a real gap for small businesses in Shropshire, offering both community and practical support.”
Periton plans to continue supporting the programme and help guide its direction.
Rob Wilson, Cabinet Member for Transport and Economic Growth at Shropshire Council, said: “Launching a new business can feel daunting and risky, but Shropshire stands out in the West Midlands with its strong business survival rate.
