WEALTH at work has strengthened its team with the appointment of Alexander Walsh (pictured) as chief commercial officer (CCO).
Walsh will start the new role on 2nd June 2026, reporting to Jonathan Watts-Lay, director and co-founder of WEALTH at work.
He will lead growth and client delivery, focusing on new solutions for clients.
He was previously CEO at Howells Associates and left the business after its sale to Cytec Solutions in March 2026.
He brings experience from the British Army and has delivered business growth through revenue and cost management.
Walsh said: “I’ve known WEALTH at work from the outside for a while and always been impressed.
“It is a business with real substance behind it: the people, the focus on doing right by clients, the way it’s built its reputation.
“But the opportunity ahead is what really excites me. More and more employers are waking up to the fact that financial wellbeing isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s a business imperative, and WEALTH at work is perfectly placed to meet that moment.”
Walsh added: “I’m very excited to join the team and to help shape and deliver the commercial strategy as we build on that momentum.”
Watts-Lay said: “We have an ambitious growth strategy for WEALTH at work that is underpinned by a commitment to continually invest in our people, propositions and our market-leading services to clients.
“We want to continue to deliver profitable, sustainable growth, and Alexander’s appointment to this newly created role is another significant step in that journey.
“He brings deep commercial expertise, a highly collaborative leadership style and a strong track record of building high-performing teams that deliver real value for clients.”
Watts-Lay added: “I’m delighted to welcome Alexander to WEALTH at work.”
