AZ Alliance has launched a foundation training course for new estate agents, the first of its kind in the UK aimed at people with no previous experience in the property industry.

The programme is run by the AZ Academy with mentoring from founder Alisa Zotimova (pictured).

It is open to graduates, career changers and mothers returning to work who want a future in residential property but have not had a formal route in.

The course includes practical training, real-world assessment and a pathway into independent practice.

AZ Alliance is offering five funded scholarships each year for university graduates and mothers returning to work.

The foundation course is open to those without a deal history or years in the sector.

It covers property knowledge, legal basics, compliance and the sales process, as well as self management and personal branding.

Candidates complete the course at their own pace, with progress reviewed by the AZ Alliance team.

Zotimova said: “The independent broker model is picking up major momentum across the UK, however most of these opportunities are for established agents.

“Based on our market engagement, there is a clear appetite for different levels.

“We built this foundation course to give motivated individuals a credible, structured way to learn and develop themselves, to become part of this movement.”

Zotomiva added: “This isn’t about lowering the bar. It’s about raising it earlier.

“By investing in proper training and assessment upfront, we’re building a stronger, more sustainable pipeline of independent agents for the future.”
