Milton Keynes College has teamed up with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA) to support the development of new chefs.

The college recently joined RACA’s College Community Programme, which helps catering colleges across the UK.

The first RACA event took place on 10th March with chef Stephen McLaughlin from Restaurant Andrew Fairlie in Scotland.

Richie Carter, workplace trainer at Milton Keynes College, said: “The morning session with the apprentices was both intriguing and informative and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

“This, coupled with the excellent service at the restaurant in the evening, ensured all our guests left with wonderful memories, as did we all.

“It was enlightening; the students were ambassadors for the college and rose to the challenge admirably. The food looked and tasted sensational.”
