ACS Recruitment has joined the Bedford College Group (TBCG) employer partnership scheme to help prepare students for work.

The Northamptonshire-based recruitment agency will support students at career events and open evenings, offering advice about employment options.

ACS Recruitment is also working with teaching staff to bring real industry challenges into the classroom.

Recently, ACS Recruitment staff spoke to students about the recruitment sector, employability skills, and career planning.

The company will sit on the college’s industry advisory boards to keep course content in line with workplace demands.

Chris Wright, UK partnership director at ACS Recruitment, said: “We’re excited to join forces with The Bedford College Group through this impactful scheme.

“While we’re proud of our Northamptonshire roots, our work spans the UK, giving us a broad perspective on the evolving needs of employers and job seekers.

“We’re passionate about supporting the next generation by sharing our industry insights and helping students make confident, informed choices about their futures.”

Gina Bubbins, director of partnerships at TBCG, said: “Collaborating with forward-thinking employers like ACS brings a powerful dimension to our students’ education.

“It not only enhances learning with real-world insight, but also ensures our curriculum stays closely aligned with the needs of modern industry.

“These partnerships are vital in helping us equip students with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to succeed in their future careers.”
