Hounslow Council to host free apprenticeship and jobs fair for young people
The event, marking National Apprenticeship Week, will bring together local employers, education and training providers from a range of industries.
Hounslow Council will host a free apprenticeship and jobs fair for young people at Hounslow House on 10th February.
The event, marking National Apprenticeship Week, will bring together local employers, education and training providers from a range of industries.
Organisations attending include West London NHS Trust, West Thames College, The King’s Trust, National Physical Laboratory, NatWest, Cisco and Ajar Technology.
The morning session will run from 10am to 12pm for Year 10 to 13 students from secondary schools in the borough and West Thames College.
The afternoon session, from 1pm to 3pm, is open to all young people aged 16 and over seeking work or training.
This includes young people with SEND and care experience.
Families and carers are also invited.
Opportunities at the fair will include apprenticeships, volunteering roles and training courses.
