SOGO Mobility and Admiral Pioneer launch salary sacrifice insurance

Insurance is priced based on individual driver risk, as opposed to the profile of the whole fleet.

SOGO Mobility has partnered with Admiral Pioneer to launch a driver-based insurance product for the SOGO One salary sacrifice scheme.

Insurance is priced based on individual driver risk, as opposed to the profile of the whole fleet.

Drivers are able to carry over and build no-claims bonuses, which SOGO said addresses a long-standing limitation of fleet-style insurance models.

The Admiral Pioneer insurance product is fully integrated into SOGO One, providing drivers with a single monthly payment.

Chris Joyce, managing director at SOGO Mobility, said: “This partnership reflects the continued evolution of both insurance and employee benefits.

“Traditional fleet insurance has typically treated drivers as a collective, which doesn’t always reflect individual behaviour behind the wheel.

“By working with Admiral Pioneer, we’re able to offer an additional model that recognises driver risk on a more individual basis and broadens the options available to our customers.”

Tom Brookbanks, head of leasing at SOGO Mobility, said: “This collaboration adds further flexibility to the SOGO One proposition.

“Insurance is a key consideration for salary sacrifice schemes, particularly as more drivers move into electric vehicles.

“Having a range of approaches allows us to better meet different customer needs while maintaining the simplicity of a fully managed solution.”
