Cosmic has secured a contract from Devon County Council to deliver skills bootcamps for people aged 19 and over who live or work in Devon.
The Government-backed training will support unemployed people, the self-employed, and employees in businesses of all sizes.
The aim is to help people improve their job prospects or performance at work.
Cosmic will run two nine-week online bootcamps, each with 60 hours of training.
Both are mapped to SFIA Level 3 standards, approved by the Department for Education and inspected by Ofsted.
The first programme, AI for Workplace Productivity, will cover using artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace, including writing emails, analysing data, and creative tasks.
Cohorts start on 15th and 16th October, with more dates in November, January and February 2026.
The second programme, Power Platform & Process Automation, will teach participants how to automate tasks, use Power BI to visualise data, create workflows, and build digital tools using Microsoft 365.
The next cohort starts on 11th November, with the last one on 27th January 2026.
Participants are expected to finish with practical skills that support career progression and business efficiency.
Julie Hawker, CEO at Cosmic, said: “We’re especially proud to offer these opportunities here in our home county.
“The world of work is changing fast, and AI is already part of our everyday lives. Rather than fear it, we need to learn how to work alongside it.
“These bootcamps are about helping people build the skills that employers are actively looking for—skills that make you more adaptable, more confident, and more valuable in the workplace.”
