ISS has launched a new apprenticeship scheme aimed at supporting racially and culturally diverse employees.
The Culture, Race and Ethnicity (CRE) Leadership Apprenticeship Scheme is being run in partnership with Learnmore and will help staff develop leadership skills and progress in the business.
The scheme uses existing leadership and management apprenticeship standards at levels 3, 5 and 7, combined with an ILM-assured culture, race and ethnicity certificate.
Each course is designed to help participants build self-awareness, learn from peers and gain tools for leadership.
Apprentices will focus on identity, purpose and cultural empowerment as leaders.
The scheme also provides opportunities for collaboration and networking across the business.
Eligible ISS employees can apply for the first round of cohorts, beginning in November 2025.
The level 3 cohort covers cultural empowerment and ethnic identity fundamental leadership team leader.
The level 5 cohort focuses on functional leadership operations manager and the level 7 cohort covers strategic senior leader.
