Ciphr Payroll has been shortlisted for software product of the year and software innovation product of the year at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) Annual Excellence Awards 2025.

Julie Lally (pictured), managing director of payroll at Ciphr, said: “Being shortlisted for two CIPP Awards is a very proud moment for all of us at Ciphr.

“It’s a huge testament to the innovation and commitment of our incredible team.

“When developing Ciphr Payroll, we focused on solving the challenges that payroll professionals often face with their payroll technology and legacy systems, such as inefficiencies, lack of automation, poor integration, onerous legislative updates, clunky user experience and reporting gaps.”

Lally added: “It’s designed by payroll experts, for payroll experts, so every button makes sense, every task is streamlined, and every calculation is crunched in true real-time.

“Ciphr Payroll delivers real value and makes the complex simple. It really is a game-changer for the payroll profession.”

The CIPP Annual Excellence Awards will take place on 2nd October 2025.
