
HETA celebrates apprentice achievements at 2026 awards
Seven apprentices and their supporters were recognised for their work, with attendees including apprentices, families, employers, sponsors, and HETA trustees.

A total of 186 businesses from across the UK and Channel Islands received awards this year.

Now in its 24th year, the awards aim to spotlight exceptional women entrepreneurs and provide a platform for growth and industry connections.

Catrin Roberts said: "This recognition reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and supported to reach their full potential."

Angela Renfrew said: “This achievement demonstrates our strong commitment to the highest standards of fair, inclusive recruitment."

Other winners included Bentley, Deutsche Bank, The Access Group, Octopus Energy, City of London Corporation, Dreams, and giffgaff.

The Access Group was recognised for keeping a strong focus on employees during growth in artificial intelligence (AI).

This year’s finalists include a range of HR and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) employers and professionals.

Callum Beaton, president of the CII, said: “We look forward to celebrating the continued positive impact of apprentices and employers.”

The RollOnFriday survey found 85% of staff at the Bristol firm said they were satisfied, putting Burges Salmon at the top of the table.

The workplace pension provider received praise for clear communication, helpful staff and ease of doing business.

Other UK companies in the top 10 included ServiceNow UK, PCI Pal, Auth0 and VIOOH, all in technology.
