The Construction Equipment Association (CEA) has partnered with ELITE Consultancy Network to help its members address ongoing skills and recruitment issues in the construction sector.
The move followed requests from CEA members for support with benchmarking salaries to improve recruitment and retention.
Under the partnership, members will get access to ELITE’s annual salary survey reports, a chance to take part in future surveys, and use of the consultancy’s recruitment network for vacancies.
ELITE works internationally, linking candidates to manufacturers, dealers, and hire businesses across construction, mining, agriculture, material handling and related sectors.
The consultancy’s approach also covers cranes, powered access, and hire and rental businesses.
The partnership aims to raise recruitment standards and offer practical support to tackle the industry’s workforce challenges.
Viki Bell, CEO of the CEA, said: “We’re pleased to partner with ELITE Consultancy Network, whose expertise and insight into recruitment challenges will provide immense value to our members.
“Access to ELITE’s salary surveys and their extensive talent network means our members can attract and retain the right people to ensure continued growth in a competitive marketplace.
“This is an important step forward in addressing the skills gap in our industry.”
