Merseyside Youth Association will keep delivering youth services in Knowsley after being recommissioned by Knowsley Council.

The Integrated Youth Service supports young people aged 11 to 19, or up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

It covers early intervention and prevention, aiming to improve mental health, employability, and wellbeing for youths across Knowsley.

Detached youth work includes youth workers meeting young people in public spaces to build relationships and link them to activities.

Intensive trauma informed mentoring programmes offer 1:1 and small group sessions for those facing barriers with health, education, employment, isolation, peer relationships, or risk of crime and anti-social behaviour.

These sessions are tailored and developed with each young person.

Merseyside Youth Commission has been commissioned to deliver the Integrated Youth Service until 2030.
