CityFibre has achieved Menopause Friendly Accreditation for 2025, showing its ongoing support for staff.

The award was set up by Henpicked: Menopause In The Workplace in 2020 to recognise companies meeting clear standards for supporting menopause at work.

To get the accreditation, CityFibre was checked by an independent panel.

The company had to show evidence in five areas including workplace culture, policies, training, engagement and working environment.

The accreditation highlights employers who have made changes to help those experiencing menopause.

Helen Hutchison, sponsor of CityFibre’s gender community and director of IT strategy, transformation and business partnership, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as a menopause-friendly employer.

“This accreditation reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace where every stage of life is respected and understood.

“It’s a meaningful step toward breaking taboos and ensuring our colleagues feel seen, heard and valued.”

Deborah Garlick, founder and CEO of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, said: “Achieving the Menopause Friendly Accreditation is a significant milestone that reflects genuine commitment, not just good intentions.

“CityFibre has taken important steps to raise awareness, open conversations and embed support into its culture.

“It’s fantastic to see the progress they’re making and their determination to continue building a truly inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.”
