Vodafone has become the first UK telecoms firm to be named a ‘Fertility Friendly Accredited’ employer.

This recognition came from Fertility Matters at Work (FMAT), which helps companies understand and support staff facing fertility issues.

Earlier this year, Vodafone started ‘Fertility Friends’ – an online group where staff can swap stories and advice about fertility.

The firm also launched a Fertility Support Hub, offering information and guidance for anyone dealing with fertility matters. Employees have access to ‘Fertility Buddies’, a confidential peer support network.

Becky Kearns, CEO at FMAT, said: “The dedication from the team was clear throughout, with so much hard work put into developing both employee and manager support pathways.”
