Lenovo UK & Ireland has received the Menopause Friendly Accreditation, recognising the company’s efforts to support employees going through menopause at work.
The accreditation, set up by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace in 2020, certifies organisations that have clear standards and practices for menopause support.
Lenovo was assessed independently and met requirements in five areas, including culture, policies, training, engagement and working environment.
Adrian Criddle, vice president and general manager, Lenovo UK & Ireland, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive the Menopause Friendly Accreditation.
“This recognition reflects our dedication to creating a workplace where all employees feel supported and valued.
“Menopause can be a challenging time, and we believe that supporting our employees through all stages of their lives is crucial to maintaining a happy, healthy, and productive workforce.”
Deborah Garlick, CEO and founder of Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, said: “Lenovo recognises the importance of combining formal policies and procedures with personalised adjustments, support and discussions in the workplace.
“This is a powerful combination that shows Lenovo stands firm with changing the culture of its organisation by openly acknowledging colleagues experiencing menopause while ensuring individuals can access practical and emotional day-to-day support as they need.”
