Lifeways has launched its biggest recruitment campaign to date, aimed at attracting new care-driven people into social care.

The campaign, called You’re Not Just Anyone, highlights the work of frontline teams supporting more than 4,000 people across the UK.

At the centre is a short film featuring Jessie and Caroline, two people supported by Lifeways, showing the impact of support teams.

The campaign addresses current challenges in the sector including overseas recruitment, competitive job markets and pressures on pay and conditions.

Applications are being encouraged from career changers, retirees, military veterans, people leaving hospitality, young people not in education, employment or training, and those returning to work after a break.

James Westwood-Beere, chief people officer at Lifeways, said: “We’re so proud to launch You’re Not Just Anyone – our biggest and most ambitious recruitment campaign to date.

“It’s an honest, heartfelt message that not just anyone can do this job. It takes people with care at their core, and those people can come from anywhere.

“We want to show that social care offers incredible purpose, stability and fulfilment – and that a career with Lifeways is truly life-changing.”

The campaign will run across social media, recruitment events, the Lifeways careers site and in the media over the next few months.
