Royal London Asset Management appoints DC and retirement proposition director

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has appointed Lee Hollingworth as its defined contribution (DC) and retirement proposition director.

In this newly established role, Hollingworth will report to Susan Spiller, head of proposition at RLAM.

He will work with both RLAM and Royal London Mutual Insurance Society to develop pension propositions for members and clients in defined benefit (DB) and DC schemes.

Hollingworth has over two decades of experience in pensions and retirement solutions.

Previously, he was head of UK retirement at Franklin Templeton, where he gained insights into asset management for retirement solutions.

Before that, he spent over 13 years at Hymans Robertson as a partner and head of DC consulting.

Spiller said: “This is a pivotal time for the pensions market and Lee’s deep expertise of both DC and DB schemes, coupled with his strategic approach, will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our pension proposition.
