Essex Growth Agency has launched ‘100 in 100’, a programme aiming to secure 100 work placements for young people in 100 days.
The launch took place at Glenwood School SEND sixth form.
The programme is led by Essex Growth Agency in partnership with Greater Essex Careers Hub.
‘100 in 100’ will link businesses with schools and colleges to offer work experiences such as workplace visits, career talks and mentoring.
The aim is to help young people build confidence and make choices about their future, while businesses benefit by creating a pipeline of future talent, building relationships with education providers, shaping the local skills agenda and raising their profile in the community.
The initiative is part of the Essex Year of Opportunity, a campaign by Essex County Council running across 2025 and 2026.
The campaign removes barriers into work and education for all ages through projects and partnerships.
‘100 in 100’ is being delivered by Deyton Bell for Essex Growth Agency.
Over the next 100 days, Deyton Bell will support businesses with their pledges, making it easier for employers of all sizes to get involved.
