Ideal Heating expands Hull workforce with new apprentices and graduates

Ideal Heating has taken on six new young recruits at its Hull headquarters, including three graduates and three apprentices. 

The new starters are based at the company’s National Avenue site and will work alongside experienced staff as part of their training.

Ideal Heating works with training providers including Humberside Engineering Training Association and Humber Energy Skills Training Academy for its apprenticeship programmes. 

The latest intake of apprentices are all aged 18 and brings the total number of apprentices at the business to 29. 

The new apprentices are quality engineer apprentice Holly Owst, R&D design – heat pumps apprentice Max Sladzevskis, and heat pump technician apprentice Robbie Kew.

Additionally, Henry Chik, Adam Scanlan and Eddie Kirkham have all joined the business as development engineers after studying engineering-based degrees.
