FutureLearn has launched FLx, a new online learner experience platform for workplace learning and development.

FLx is built using Viblio’s artificial intelligence (AI) technology and brings together content from FutureLearn’s global network.

The platform creates personalised learning pathways for employees, customised to their roles, skills and career goals.

FLx features AI-driven learning playlists, video skills assessments and a wallet system to manage budgets and track learning spend.

It also includes ‘Leo’, an AI career coach, and skills assessment tools that provide real-time, tailored advice for career development.

Businesses can add their own training content, making it easier to tailor learning to employee and employer needs.

Ian Howell, managing director of FutureLearn, said: “With talent shortages and rapidly evolving technology changing the way we work, many companies are under immense pressure to upskill their teams quickly.

“We created FLx to revolutionise businesses’ traditional approach to workplace learning and development.

“FLx places personalisation, accessibility and real-world impact at the heart of corporate learning.”

Howell added: “It’s designed to help organisations upskill their employees quickly and effectively, through quality, curated content from a wealth of credible learning providers.

“There’s growing recognition that employees feel valued through their growth as a person, not just as a professional.

“FLx has been created to inspire learners, giving them their own personal career coach to help them develop confidence and purpose in their current role, while also empowering them to develop and reskill to stay resilient against today’s changing business landscape.”

Dayana Mejias, CEO of Viblio, said: “At Viblio, our mission is to accelerate employee performance using the power of AI.

“Too often, we’ve seen chaotic onboarding and L&D processes that simply overburden managers and frustrate teams.

“We cut through that chaos, transforming it into structured, personalised pathways that guide every individual towards success.”

Mejias added: “Companies like Pittini can attest to our impact, using Viblio to dramatically reduce ramp-up times, boost talent retention, and align individual development with measurable business outcomes.

“If your talent is the driving force behind your company, then Viblio is your ultimate performance accelerator.”
