Global law firm Clyde & Co has been accredited as a ‘Carer Confident’ employer by Carers UK.

The accreditation recognises the firm’s support for employees with caring responsibilities.

There are estimated to be 52,000 unpaid carers in Scotland and many more across the UK workforce.

Clyde & Co set up the Parents and Carers Together (PACT) network over two years ago to provide a supportive space for carers.

The network has grown to include hundreds of members and leaders across the firm.

It hosts events and looks at what it means to be a carer, working in line with the firm’s values.

The ‘Carer Confident’ accreditation recognises the impact of the network and Clyde & Co’s work to support carers’ rights and wellbeing.

Clyde & Co plans further events, collaborations and aims to engage globally.
