Amey has been awarded ‘Investors in People (IiP) Platinum’ accreditation, the highest level available, following a detailed independent assessment.

The recognition puts Amey among a select group of UK employers, due to its approach to leadership, workforce development and inclusive culture.

The achievement was marked at an event on 30th April at Amey’s Furnival Street office, attended by representatives from Investors in People, members of the Amey executive team, and chairman Lord Colin Moynihan.

Michael Burgess (pictured, far left), chief people officer at Amey, said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved Investors in People Platinum status.

“This award is a testament to the people-first culture we’ve worked so hard to build, where every voice matters, every individual is supported to grow, and where purpose drives performance.

“Our teams across the UK make Amey what it is today, and this recognition is for them.”

Gwen Powell (pictured, far right), international manager at IiP, said: “Platinum status is an achievement attained by only a select group of organisations.

“Amey’s success reflects the significant and purposeful strides it has taken to build a more inclusive workplace and empower its people at every level.

“It has been a privilege to work with the team at Amey, and this accreditation is a testament to their dedication, leadership, and commitment to continuous improvement.

“A truly well-deserved recognition for both the business and its people.”
