Mednet, a woman-owned business, has donated refurbished laptops to women’s charity Smart Works Leeds, in order to support women preparing to re-enter the workforce.

Mednet collaborated with Smart Works Leeds over the past year, offering mentoring, work opportunities, and event assistance.

Lottie Roberts, outreach and communications manager at Smart Works Leeds, said: “The support and assistance we’ve had from the team at Mednet has been life changing.

“It’s really helped us ensure we’re providing the best possible service to women who need it.”

Emma Greensmith, finance director at Mednet, said: “As a certified woman-owned business, we understand the importance of helping women return to the workforce and grow their careers.

“When we realised we had laptops no longer in use by our team, it made sense to clean them up and donate them to a charity like Smart Works Leeds, where they could make a real difference.

“Access to technology is critical for modern career development, and we’re proud to play a part in helping women achieve their goals.”
