London Stansted Airport has revealed five lesser-known career paths ahead of its jobs fair on 30th April at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Over 30 airport-based companies will be recruiting for hundreds of roles in areas such as security, customer service, hospitality, and logistics.
Roles include airside operations officer, airport firefighter, security trainer, terminal duty managers and engineering technician (baggage system).
Roles will be available with MAG Stansted, Ryanair, Titan Airways, Border Force, Jet2.com, World Duty Free, Swissport, DHL and NATS.
Staff can also get the Airport Travel Card, which gives discounts on rail, bus, and coach fares.
Marcella M’Rabety, head of social sustainability at Manchester Airports Group (MAG), said: “People are often surprised when they discover the sheer range of roles available at the airport.
“From specialist operations to hospitality and everything in between, there’s something for almost every skill set and interest.
“Our jobs fair is all about showing the breadth of opportunity available and helping local people find rewarding careers right here on their doorstep.”
M’Rabety added: “The event is open to anyone looking to kickstart their career, make a change, or return to work. Attendees can meet recruiters, ask questions, and apply for live vacancies on the day.
“Careers support and advice will also be available from the airport’s Employment and Skills Academy.”
