East Belfast Enterprise has been officially accredited as a Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage Foundation.
All staff and regular third-party contracted staff now receive at least the real living wage, currently set at £12.60 across the UK.
This rate is calculated independently and updated every year.
Jonathan McAlpin (pictured, left), CEO of East Belfast Enterprise, said: “This accreditation as a Living Wage Employer isn’t just about a payslip – it’s about respect and putting people at the heart of everything we achieve.
“At East Belfast Enterprise, we value our people deeply and encourage them to thrive professionally and personally.
“Paying the Real Living Wage is a practical and powerful way to show our commitment to our team.”
McAlpin added: “When an organisation pays staff fairly, it improves staff morale, retention, and motivation.
“It uplifts families, strengthens businesses, and contributes to a healthier and more resilient community.”
East Belfast Enterprise supports entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses in East Belfast through office space, mentoring and training.
