NHS Employers has named 14 organisations for the 2025/26 Diversity in Health and Care Partners programme.
The annual scheme supports health and care organisations to improve equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) at work.
It gives access to expert advice, resources and networking, and is linked to the NHS long term workforce plan and the EDI improvement plan.
Samantha Rashid, assistant director partnerships and equality at NHS Confederation, said: “We’re thrilled to launch our new 2025/2026 programme and to welcome a new cohort of health and social care organisations committed to driving meaningful change.
“In a time of continued pressure across the sector, these organisations are demonstrating bold leadership by placing equity, diversity and inclusion at the heart of their transformation agenda.
“We look forward to collaborating with them as they work to foster cultures that are inclusive, safe and welcoming for staff and communities alike.”
The programme begins in September with a virtual masterclass for board members on EDI and tackling health inequalities.
The named organisations are Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, GTD Healthcare, Health Alliance PCN, Hywel Dda University Health Board, Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, North East North Cumbria ICB.
Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, SYNLAB UK & Ireland, and Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust, are also taking part.
