Movera, the home moving group behind ONP Solicitors, has launched a new flexible training academy as it seeks to build a more inclusive pipeline of conveyancing professionals. The latest intake has already completed its training under the new model, which blends classroom, hybrid, and fully remote options.

The new approach builds on Movera’s training academies first introduced two years ago for individuals with no previous experience. The original programmes proved effective in developing entry-level talent, prompting the company to pilot further initiatives, including a five-week ‘Property Lawyer Academy’ and remote options for those with some industry experience.

The company says its new model is designed to integrate multiple learning styles in one structure, offering greater flexibility and accessibility for those at different career stages. Amanda Wright, training specialist at Movera, said: “Our flexible academy is a game-changer. We’ve listened to what learners and the industry need: tailored pathways, digital-first delivery, and options that fit different lifestyles. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from our first intake shows we’re on the right path.”

The first cohort completed their training earlier this spring, with Movera reporting strong engagement and positive workplace outcomes. The business is now preparing for its next round of learners under the revised programme.

Wright added that the initiative underlines Movera’s commitment to addressing the evolving demands of the legal and property sectors. The flexible academy, she said, aims to support “a resilient, highly skilled workforce for the future of conveyancing.”
