UK’s most in-demand careers for 2024 unveiled in new study

A recent study conducted by London Office Space has identified the most popular career choices among Brits in 2024, with data analysis leading the way. The research analysed average monthly Google searches and job listings available on Glassdoor to determine which careers are currently most in demand.

The position of Data Analyst topped the list, attracting 5,145.83 monthly Google searches and boasting 68 job listings, reflecting its essential role in business decision-making across various sectors. Following closely are careers such as Project Manager and Business Analyst, with high demand in sectors like tech, finance, and construction.

Further down the list, Software Developers and Software Engineers also show strong demand with significant search volumes and available positions, highlighting the ongoing importance of tech skills in today’s job market.

Our research highlights specific roles, from Data Analysts who thrive on detail and analysis to Graphic Designers who bring creativity to life.”
