Jessica O'ConnorGlobal payroll and HR platform Deel has set a new Guinness World Records™ title for the ‘Largest online hiring event’ after attracting 6,848 attendees to a live virtual recruitment event.
The record was achieved during Deel’s global Zoom-based event, entitled ‘Get Inspired, Get Hired’, which brought together thousands of professionals from around the world to learn about the company’s growth and international career opportunities.
The event featured more than 300 open sales roles available globally.
Designed to accelerate hiring at scale, the event allowed attendees to apply for roles immediately, with all applicants invited to complete AI-powered initial interviews.
Deel worked with technology partners micro1, Covey and Metaview to support the process, using AI to streamline screening and fast-track candidates through early hiring stages.
