William Russell has launched a new set of free digital benefits for members and business clients, called Elevate.
The package includes health, mental health, well-being, and safety services, with support shaped by broker feedback and market research.
Elevate will be added to all William Russell insurance policies as standard from 1st January 2026.
This covers international health, life, and income protection, and is available to individuals, families, and group policyholders.
Existing customers will get access at their next renewal.
Elevate offers four main services.
My Global Doctor from Teladoc Health gives members access to video or phone consultations.
This service allows doctors to provide advice, guidance, referrals, sick notes, and prescriptions, depending on local laws.
Members who have policies with limited outpatient or mental health cover can benefit from My Global Doctor and TELUS Health Engage counselling.
TELUS Health Engage gives 24/7 access to confidential counselling and a digital platform where members can set goals, link wearables, and track progress.
The rewards scheme offers discounts and prizes for healthy habits.
Solace Secure from Solace Global provides global alerts and safety advice, including information on local healthcare and emergency contacts.
The package is designed for people living and working overseas.
It gives access to health, well-being, and safety services from anywhere.
For brokers, Elevate offers extra value for expat clients and helps William Russell stand out by including well-being support for all customers, not just group policyholders.
Inez Cooper, founder and managing director at William Russell, said: “At William Russell, we’ve always believed expat insurance should do more than just provide cover when something goes wrong.
“With Elevate, we’re giving our members the tools to live healthier, happier and safer lives abroad – helping them achieve the expat lifestyle they’ve always dreamed of, anywhere in the world.
“This launch is about taking expat insurance to the next level by making it more supportive, more intuitive, and more rewarding.”
William Cooper, director at William Russell, said: “Elevate represents a huge step forward for William Russell.
“We’re bringing to market a membership proposition that you’d normally associate with a large insurer, and we’re making it available to all our members – individuals, families, and employees.
“We’ve picked our service providers very carefully, skipping the traditional EAP-style services and instead investing in a gamified well-being platform and video-based counselling service that our members will actually use and value.”
Cooper added: “Together with our trademark customer service, Elevate makes our insurance policies tremendous value for money.”
Teresa Wighton, commercial director at William Russell, said: “With people being much more health conscious, we’re delighted to be providing our members with a truly digital well-being offering that is engaging and that will provide them with content relevant to their well-being goals and needs.
“The online access to trained counsellors will also provide our customers with a confidential and discreet service to support their mental health concerns.
“Together with the newly available telehealth service, My Global Doctor, we’re making access to health and well-being simple and easy for our members.”
John McQuillan, general manager – insurance (UK & global markets) at Teladoc Health International, said: “We’re proud to partner with William Russell by providing My Global Doctor for their members all over the world.
“Teladoc Health International has decades-long experience in supporting patients all over the world via our clinician-first virtual services.
“We will continue to transform how better health happens for more patients because of this valued partnership.”
