CBVC Vehicle Management announced the addition of used cars to its fleet management and salary sacrifice portals to boost driver choice and affordability.

The fleet management provider’s online platforms have been expanded to include ex-fleet cars which are typically less than three years old.

Michelle George, commercial director at CBVC, said: “Household budgets are tight right now, so it felt like the ideal time to add a used leasing option to our online platforms to broaden driver choice.

“Drivers now have the option to select a high spec or premium used car that might otherwise be out of reach. We’re already seeing fleet drivers selecting used versions of high-end models typically only available to higher-grade positions.”

The CBVC online salary sacrifice platform includes an interface to enable employees to select vehicles that match their needs and budget.

Used vehicles available for lease span petrol, diesel, hybrid and full battery electric models.

One of the first companies to use the used car leasing addition was Next Energy.

Emma Hunter, finance manager at Next Energy, said: “I recently received my Volvo C40 through CBVC’s salary sacrifice scheme and couldn’t be happier.

“The vehicle arrived in immaculate condition, exactly as described, with no issues at all. Having access to high-quality used cars like this makes the scheme even more appealing – great value and a seamless experience from start to finish.”
