B2B communications agency Fight or Flight has unveiled ‘Media TrAIner’, an AI-powered media training platform for spokespeople.
Now available via monthly subscription to PR and comms professionals worldwide, Media TrAIner simulates how an interview could play out before it goes live.
The platform generates a predictive article based on a real or mock interview, alongside a performance score and feedback rooted in the agency’s established media training principles.
Initially rolled out to Fight or Flight clients last year, the tool has already been used in hundreds of media preparation sessions.
Dan Bird, EVP, global head of innovation and AI at Fight or Flight, said: “By making Media TrAIner available as a subscription service, we’re making AI-powered professional coaching for spokespeople accessible to anyone in the PR industry.
“Our clients have used Media TrAIner for preparation for hundreds of interviews in the last six months, and the overwhelming feedback is they have loved using AI to see how a spokesperson’s words might land in the media so they can provide fast advice to improve outcomes. W
“e’ve had so many requests to access the technology directly it was a no-brainer to launch a SaaS version available to the whole industry.”
Brian Austin, industry relations director at Avalara, added: “The ability to quickly generate realistic mock articles shows our spokespeople the high stakes of media interviews and the importance of media training.
“The combination of deep expertise built over decades alongside the efficiency of AI takes a traditional media training session to the next level.”
Pamela Knudsen, senior spokesperson at Avalara, said: “Seeing example articles straight after an interview underscored the importance and seriousness of the training and enabled me to incorporate the suggestions immediately while the interview was still fresh in my mind.”
