Deloitte Legal and Legora have formed a new partnership in the UK to help law firms and in-house teams use artificial intelligence (AI) in their work.

The two businesses plan to make legal services more efficient and deliver better results for clients using Legora’s AI platform and Deloitte Legal’s experience with legal operations.

Deloitte Legal will create pre-built solutions and custom workflows on Legora’s platform.

These will be offered to in-house legal departments and law firms aiming to improve the way they work with AI.

Legora’s technology helps lawyers review and research faster, draft documents more precisely, and automate repetitive tasks, allowing lawyers to focus on higher value work.

The platform is also designed to help junior lawyers learn faster and support better collaboration between law firms and in-house teams.

Richard Punt, global and UK leader at Deloitte Legal, said: “At Deloitte Legal, delivering business solutions to legal issues is at the heart of our approach.

“Our collaboration with Legora is an exciting development as we share a strategic vision for AI-driven transformation of legal services.

“Together, we will help our clients provide more insightful, efficient, and effective legal solutions and re-design how legal services are delivered, providing new value and better outcomes.”

Max Junestrand, CEO of Legora, said: “Legora’s platform has always been built on collaboration between the finest legal and technical minds.

“This new relationship with Deloitte Legal allows us to push the boundaries of what legal technology can achieve and set a new standard for the delivery of legal services.

“Together, we’re equipping Deloitte Legal’s own team – and their client base – with customised, cutting-edge AI solutions to transform their operations – helping them to work smarter, faster, and deliver better outcomes.”
