CITB’s National Construction College (NCC) in Inchinnan, Scotland, will open its doors to construction employers for a one-day event on 1st August.

The event will show how NCC is training the next generation in the trades and will offer employers information on grants and funding to help with training or apprenticeships.

Employers will be able to see NCC’s scaffolding apprenticeship training, highlighting the access sector’s role in site safety and commercial training.

The event is free to attend and runs from 8.30am to 10.30am at 4 Inchinnan Business Park, Fountain Ave, Inchinnan, Renfrew.

CITB’s plan for NCC is to expand training options, improve teaching quality and learner support, and work closely with the industry to increase its impact.

The college aims to increase the range and number of apprenticeship and commercial training opportunities at its three sites.

Kirsty Evans, executive principal for NCC, said: “NCC is firmly focused on achieving great outcomes for our learners and employers.

“Events like our upcoming open days give employers a valuable opportunity to see first-hand how our training equips apprentices and workers with the skills needed to thrive on site.”
