Automotive aftermarket brand NAPA has launched a new partnership with Coleg Menai, a further education college in Anglesey, to support Motorsport Engineering students preparing for careers in the automotive and motorsport industries.

Working alongside the local NAPA Auto Parts store, the company has donated a range of high-quality components for use in the students’ Targa rally car project.

In addition to the donation, students also received hands-on training and access to technical resources through NAPA’s partner, TechMate.

Adam McNaney, marketing manager at NAPA, said: “We are proud to support Coleg Menai in nurturing future talent through quality resources and training.

This partnership aligns with our commitment to excellence and investing in the development of skilled professionals who will drive the automotive sector forward.”

The collaboration gives students access to NAPA’s OE-quality parts and expert technical guidance, helping them gain skills relevant to today’s automotive industry.

The college also benefits from NAPA’s broad parts inventory and expertise, which the company says is critical in an evolving technical landscape.

A video of the project’s progress and NAPA’s recent visit to Coleg Menai is now available on YouTube via the @NAPAUKI channel.
