Oracle has introduced new features to its Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) platform, aimed at enhancing employee engagement and productivity.

These updates were unveiled during Oracle CloudWorld in London yesterday, Thursday 20th March.

The latest enhancements to Oracle’s ME employee experience platform provide tools for better communication and event management internally.

The updates to Oracle Communicate link event management to workforce data, allowing for more personalised employee communications.

This includes tools for HR teams to manage events like onboarding and enrolment, target specific audiences for communications, and utilise real-time analytics to increase engagement.

Additionally, managers can now create team events to support initiatives such as learning and development, and use personalised communication tools for tailored messaging and encouraging specific actions.

This includes data-driven insights to aid in team productivity and growth.

On the employee side, new self-service tools support the creation of peer-to-peer events, fostering workplace connectivity.

Employees can recommend and share events through the Oracle Activity Center and manage all communications through a unified hub.

These enhancements aim to streamline internal communication processes, making it easier for HR, managers, and employees to engage with and promote company culture and initiatives effectively.

Yvette Cameron, senior vice president, global HCM product strategy at Oracle, said: “Many organisations use multiple point solutions to support internal communications and event management, but these often don’t deliver the employee participation or insights needed for HR teams to effectively support their workforce and drive meaningful change.

“The latest updates to Oracle Communicate deliver a single communications and event management solution to help increase employee engagement, deliver more effective team communication, and drive change across the organization.”
