Virtual cancer survivorship clinic Perci Health has reported that its programme has achieved 88% of participants returning within six months of completing the program.

100% of these participants reported that their return was faster due to the support they received.

The company released its inaugural Impact Report, shedding light on the challenges faced by people living with and beyond cancer.

With the number of cancer survivors in the UK set to double by 2030, the report stressed the urgent need for comprehensive cancer care, particularly in the workplace where the effects can impact both employees and employers.

The report revealed that 84% of members reported an improved quality of life, with fatigue reduced by 76% and anxiety reduced by 86%.

Additionally, members experienced a 1.6-point reduction in primary symptom severity, surpassing the clinical significance benchmark of 1.0.

This data highlighted how the program addressed physical, psychological, and practical challenges, enabling participants to regain stability and confidence.

Research estimated that breast cancer alone costs the UK economy between £2.6bn to £2.8bn annually, underscoring the far-reaching consequences of insufficient support for cancer patients.

Kelly McCabe, CEO of Perci Health, said: “We’re redefining how the world approaches cancer.

“For too long, survivorship care has been an afterthought, leaving individuals and their employers to navigate complex challenges alone.

“Our model ensures high-quality, accessible, and impactful care is the norm – not the exception.”
