Geary’s Bakery has chosen HR and workforce management provider Elementsuite as its HR, scheduling and pay solution.

Geary’s Bakery is a private bakery business which produces the Jason’s Sourdough range, and has more than 500 employees working across three sites.

As an organisation that operates 24 hours a day for 364 days a week, Geary’s needed a robust end-to-end solution to support employees with self-service functionality.

The organisation will be utilising the HR, scheduling and pay elements of everyday to address flexibility around scheduling.

Employees will also be empowered to manage rotas from their mobile by being able to swap shifts, pick up uncovered shifts, manage absences, and so much more.

Nia Johnson, human resources manager at Geary’s Bakeries, said: “We reviewed a lot of software in the mid-market space, and before being introduced to everyday we didn’t feel that there was a solution that could handle the complexity around Geary’s shift pattern management.

“Every day is perfect for our growing business. We needed a platform that supported scalability and provided the scheduling flexibility that is so crucial to our business.

“The automation of our manual processes will not only save us time but also increase operational efficiencies across the organisation. Not to mention, the look and feel of everyday is fantastic!”

Steve Elcock, CEO and founder of Elementsuite, said:  “We’re looking forward to working with the team at Geary’s Bakery.

“It’s a brilliant organisation and everyday will truly help to transform their world of work by automating processes that are currently manual, ultimately helping to support strategic growth objectives.”
