Unite has confirmed today that approximately 80 workers at Glasgow Airport employed by the OCS Group have accepted a new pay offer. This deal includes a 10.9% increase in wages, bringing the hourly rate to £12.20, which is 20 pence above the real living wage. The agreement marks another year of double-digit increases, following an 11.1% raise in 2023.

Unite General Secretary Sharon Graham stated, “Unite has secured double-digit wage increases for our OCS members two years in a row. It’s another good wage deal for our members at Glasgow Airport. Unite is fully determined to enhance the jobs, pay, and conditions of our members across all Scottish airports.”

This latest wage adjustment comes on the heels of another significant pay deal announced last week for ABM workers at the same airport, which increased their basic hourly pay to £12.10. Unite is also preparing to launch a ‘New Deal’ for Scottish aviation workers to further improve employment conditions across the sector.

Unite officer Pat McIlvogue commented on the agreement, saying, “The OCS wage deal has secured enhancements to pay, terms, and working conditions. Unite is determined to ensure that across all employers at Glasgow Airport, the real living wage as a minimum is secured. The OCS deal delivers this objective and it gives a significant boost to our members’ income over the course of the next year.”
