The MoneySuperMarket survey showed nearly six in 10 owners of businesses with 10 to 49 employees reported burnout, compared to 39% of sole traders.

Only a third (33.5%) said they had a good work-life balance and just 6% said they were never stressed.

The survey revealed that 75% of teachers struggle to switch off from work at home, and many work evenings and weekends.

According to the recent data from Inpulse almost a fifth of employees (18%) feel stressed at work.
