Cresswell said: “I am truly excited to continue the growth and development of our market leading Pensions Governance and Secretariat services, with the wider support of Howden.
“Good governance is critical to successful outcomes for pension scheme members and my focus will be on continuing to develop our market leading consulting services, incorporating technology such as BW CORE© and BoardClic.
“We have a fantastic team who are passionate about building strong relationships with clients and I will continue to drive forward our innovative client focused approach.”
Paul Jayson, partner and head of board management services at BW, said: “We first launched our non-pension governance and secretariat business within Barnett Waddingham by leveraging the fantastic capabilities of our pension team.
“Now this has established itself in the market under the leadership of Inderpreet Bedi, we want to make sure that our pension business continues to be dedicated and market leading, to protect the futures of scheme members through independent and creative solutions.
