Humanforce has appointed Liam McNeill as senior vice president international, a newly created role that will be based in the UK and focused on driving the company’s expansion across EMEA and North America.
The business said the appointment will strengthen its position in key international markets and help organisations manage increasingly complex workforce requirements.
McNeill has more than 20 years of experience in workforce management and HR technology, having previously held roles at UKG, SAP and BP.
Humanforce said his background supporting large, shift-based workforces gives him a solid understanding of the pressures faced by sectors where workforce agility, compliance and employee engagement are closely linked to business performance.
The role will centre on deepening customer partnerships, accelerating regional growth and ensuring the company continues to develop solutions tailored to frontline workforce challenges, including complex scheduling, compliance pressures, rising labour costs and the need for data-driven workforce analytics.
McNeill said he was attracted to Humanforce by the strength of its platform and its potential for expansion into new markets.
He said: “Humanforce has been purpose-built for frontline workforces from day one, not retrofitted from traditional enterprise systems. The team is creating a connected employee journey from hiring through to workforce optimisation to pay. Plus, AI that actually learns from how your workforce operates – predicting demand, optimising schedules, driving productivity.”
Humanforce described the appointment as a significant milestone in strengthening its global leadership position.
The company said sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, sports and venues, and other shift-driven environments are increasingly seeking modern HCM systems that simplify scheduling, improve labour efficiency, ensure compliance and enhance employee experience.
Clayton Pyne, chief executive officer of Humanforce, said: “Liam brings a rare combination of global perspective, enterprise capability and frontline workforce expertise to Humanforce.
“His leadership will accelerate our international expansion as we move upmarket and support larger, more complex organisations.
“With global demand rising for intelligent HCM platforms that can optimise shift-based operations at scale, Liam’s experience will help us capitalise on that opportunity and deliver even greater value to our international customers.”
The company said its ongoing growth highlights the increasing need for technology that supports large and distributed workforces.
Humanforce’s AI-driven HCM suite includes workforce management, HR, talent acquisition and pay tools designed to help organisations improve productivity, reduce risk and deliver a more connected employee experience across the full lifecycle.
