University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) received the North Somerset Healthy Workplaces Gold Award for its wellbeing programme.
The programme supports all staff across the trust.
Claire Haley, workplace wellbeing manager at UHBW, said: “We are delighted to receive a gold award.
“This accolade reflects the dedication and collaborative efforts of our colleagues who provide internal health, safety, and wellbeing services across all divisions, as well as our exceptional and proactive workplace wellbeing advocates who offer direct peer support to their teams.”
The award was presented at the healthy workplaces ceremony in Weston-super-Mare on 18th November 2025.
The assessment covers nine areas, including leadership and commitment, line management, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Jenny Lewis, chief people and culture officer at UHBW, said: “This recognition marks a significant milestone for UHBW.
“Receiving this award aligns with this year’s strategic objectives for workplace wellbeing as detailed in our annual plan.
“It also supports the trust target to be in the top 10% of NHS organisations for colleagues recommending us as a place to work.”
Lewis added: “This recognition marks an important step forward, and we remain dedicated to making sure all our colleagues feel supported and well at work — because your wellbeing is key to the high standard of care we strive to deliver.”
