Pennon has secured platinum membership of the 5% Club for the second year running, recognising its investment in apprenticeships and graduate schemes.
The South West-based employer was acknowledged for having at least 5% of its workforce in structured training or development.
Nearly 10% of Pennon’s workforce are now part of development programmes, including more than 350 apprentices and graduates.
The company aims to support over 1,000 people through these schemes by 2030.
Susan Davy, CEO at Pennon, said: “I’m so proud of my brilliant colleagues across Pennon who make this possible.
“Every day, our teams put their energy into helping others grow, sharing their skills, and creating opportunities for people to build great careers while making a real difference in their communities.
“Being recognised again with Platinum status is down to them – it shows the care and commitment they bring to developing talent right across our business.”
Davy added: “From apprentices taking their first steps to graduates leading the way on innovation and sustainability, this is what the future of our industry looks like – and it’s being shaped by our people.”
