ARB UK Truckman has created five new roles with the opening of its new Bristol base, part of a £250,000 investment to expand its footprint across the South and South West.

The 1,300 sq ft site, which will serve customers of both ARB UK and Truckman, provides fitting, retail and trade services and is designed to replicate the capability of the company’s Dudley headquarters.

The two-floor facility includes three fitting bays, a large stock holding and despatch area, and a dedicated sales and customer service team.

Three sales staff and two fitters have already been hired, with further recruitment expected as demand grows.

The new base will manage sales, marketing and customer service locally, with a strong focus on supporting regional fleets, trade users and customers seeking van and pickup conversions.

Carwyn Davis (pictured), who leads the Bristol site, said: “There’s a strong appetite for what we offer in this part of the country.

“We’ve built a capable team and the response so far has been really positive.”

Richard Langman, managing director of ARB Truckman, said: “We’ve seen consistent growth in demand from the South West, and this investment allows us to respond in a way that’s both practical and customer-focused.”
