Just Group has launched a new Fixed Term Investment (FTI) designed to provide guaranteed income and growth options within personal pension portfolios.

The retirement specialist has partnered with adviser platform Fundment to make FTI available alongside its Secure Lifetime Income (SLI) solution. The structured investment offers guaranteed returns for a selected term, with the option of a pre-defined capital return at maturity. It integrates with other pension assets under one portfolio to improve diversification and tax efficiency.

Sean Osborne, director of retail distribution at Just Group, said: “We are delighted to announce FTI will be available on Fundment, which is at the forefront of adviser platform technology and is committed to giving advisers access to innovative new solutions.

“Advisers using Fundment will have access to both FTI and our SLI guaranteed income solution – the two complement each other and enable advisers to build a complete blended retirement solution for their clients.”

FTI is aimed at a range of clients approaching or in retirement, with applications including pre-retirees looking to preserve capital, early retirees seeking tax-efficient income, conservative investors seeking certainty, and those planning for future withdrawals or legacies. It includes death benefit and early surrender options and is fully protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Ola Abdul, founder and chief executive of Fundment, said: “We are committed to becoming the leading all-in-one tech platform that supports advisers’ needs across all their financial planning activities, which includes providing access to innovative retirement market solutions such as Just Group’s FTI and SLI.”

Just said the product will allow advisers to move further away from single-strategy retirement approaches towards hybrid solutions, combining certainty and flexibility with simplified administration.
