Axiom GRC has launched its business resilience platform, backed by £500m private equity investment and boasting different Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) capabilities.
Formed from the £430m acquisition of Marlowe PLC’s risk software and services division by leading European private equity firm Inflexion, Axiom GRC launches with over 50 compliance products, 40,000 clients and two million users.
The venture is led by Alex Dacre (pictured), founder of Marlowe PLC and orchestrator of its GRC division, which accounted for more than 40% of Marlowe’s profits before being acquired by Inflexion.
Dacre exited Marlowe to lead the creation of Axiom GRC, aiming to establish a complete business resilience platform designed to enable responsible and sustainable growth of SMEs and enterprises.
Dacre said: “The burden of responsibility on businesses is greater now than it has ever been.
“We recognised the clear opportunity for a market-leading, full-service GRC platform and this attracted strong private equity backing.
“There is growing demand for GRC support as businesses navigate increasingly complex and regulated environments worldwide.”
He added: “Our platform has a proposition for everyGRC need that a company of any size within any sector could have.
“Through one gateway, Axiom GRC addresses all the modern challenges faced by businesses, empowering them to focus on what matters most while we manage the risk and compliance burden.”
